Tarzan was a nice size boy with great drives. Easy to work,
a pleasure to train. Tons of energy, great social personality
He produced several litters. His first was out of Alta, from Briarlea Bouviers.
This was a nice litter, producing nice working girls for both myself and the breeder. There are several pups
working in herding, one in agility and we are very pleased with Kaida's progress in French Ring.
His next two litters were out of Cayuse. All the pups from the first litter were placed in companion homes. As we watched them mature we were very pleased with the looks and termperaments. Two years later, we repeated the breeding with the intent of keeping one girl for our breeding program. One went to a breeder in Canada, and is co-owned by Sunny at Briarlea. We placed our pick on a co-ownership as we were a bit over booked with time for training. At this writing we do have one girl that was returned to us as she simply has too much drive for a pet home.
His final litter was an "oops" breeding to Kaida. All three of those pups are in wonderful companion homes.
On May 1, 2014 we noticed when grooming him that his stomach seemed hard & distended. We rushed him to the Emergency Clinic, were our worst fear - Bloat - was confirmed. Unfortunately, we were too late to save him and he passed on during the surgery.
He left us too young and will be much missed.
