We have puppies expected from Cayuse & Tarzan this August.  Pregnancy was confirmed via ultrasound on July 11th!  Puppies should arrive around August 8th - the vet guesses her at about 31 days from the growth shown on the ultrasound.

We expect good but moderate drive from this litter.  Both Tarzan and Cayuse are a little handler sensitive, have great ball & retrieve drive and are nice, social dogs.  They also compliment each other well in the "looks" department - if the pups take the best from both parents they should have nice heads, square bodies and moderate size.  Of course, we shall see what actually happens!

Tarzan's only litter so far has done well.  The pups just turned two and half the litter is titled in various sports - French Ring, Herding and Agility.

This is an outcross breeding, with no common ancestors in the first 5 generations.  While that does give you more genetic variety, it also makes the results a bit harder to guess - not that they are ever easy!

Plans to breed Kaida are in progress.  We are hoping for Winter 2011/12, after the trial season.  The search is still on for the right male.
