Lady found a great home on a small farm where her energy can be put to good use chasing mice out of the greenhouse.

This sweet girl originally came into rescue in April of 2000.  The family that surrendered her was just not prepared for an active Terrier.  The combination of the active, slightly dominant terrier and several toddlers was just too much for Mom!  Her sister was also surrendered at the same time.  She had come from a different home, and had been neglected & somewhat abused.  Lady's owner was caring enough to get this dog to us (when the breeder was contacted and refused to take any responsibility Lady's owner heard about the pup's plight)- and Tinkerbell has a wonderful home where she is loved & spoiled!

Lady Tory has not been so lucky.  Through absolutely no fault of hers, her first adopters have returned her to Rescue (as our contract requires if you are no longer able to care for the dog or for any reason must give it up.)  Their housing and lifestyle are undergoing some radical changes, and they can not handle a dog with Lady's energy.
